Yotam Parang

Sawmill Operator (ex. chainsaw operator)

“My family is from nearby village, Helaitator, and I used to work as farmer before I joined the company. I would cry everytime reminiscence back on that  era like this. Life was very difficult! We planted cassava, cabbage, spinach and fishing for our daily consumption, earning more or less 2 million Rupiah every month. When the company came I was very grateful to be recruited as chainsaw operator, earning more than 20 million Rupiah even on a rainy month. Three years ago my health started to deteriorate so the boss replaced me with my younger helper, Huru Bangheli. But I was not dismissed, instead I was reassigned as a sawmill operator, learning the operation from our Javanese and Kalimantan’s colleagues. I feel an infinite gratitute for the company… May God bless this company, everlasting for ever and ever.”

Rustam Halimongo

Forest Surveyor

“I am a proud member of the Togutile tribe. My parents and some older cousin are still live in the forest. All my life I develop survival skill to live in the forest, unfortunately that was not regarded as productive skills in the villages. When the company came, it opened up the opportunity for me, I was immediately hired as forest surveyor, to scout the forest topography, to inventorize the forest, to label the trees. Now I can afford to let my wife and children live in the nearby village, shelter them with proper housing, sent my children to school. The company help me to create a better life. I have a Samsung smartphone now, 10 years ago I do not even know what is a refrigerator, what a miracle!”

Rickoh Debeturu

Member of Regional People Representative (ex. subdistrict head of Wasile Utara)

“I am a long-time supporter of the company. I know personally pak Victor since the very first socialization, got his personal number here. I remember initially there were was lot of resistance from majority of the villages, they even did several public protests to barricade the road. I was one of the forefront mediator, I had personal chat with pak Victor and I acknowledged his sincerity for the community, his dream to create something big here. I believe in the company ever since and did a campaign to support them. I wish the company to stay true to its vision and to grow even larger for its contribution to the local society. God bless.”

Desyulce Edeng

Ex. Forest Administrative Staff

“I used to work for the company as forest administrative staff for more than six years. I resigned in 2023 when I decided to pursue a master degree in the local university. I was a fresh graduate prior to joining the company so I might not be able to make comparision with other company, but I personally feel a very pleasant experience working at the company. When there were issues we work together to solve it,  everyone was very supportive, it felt like a big family.”

PRODUCTS

Transpire Circular and Green Economy

Creating economic value through production of renewable resources, environmental services, and community developments, rewarding stakeholders with lucrative dividends.

On-going project

Future Expansion

Phase 1: Renewable Wood

International grade sawn wood, sourced from our industrial forest plantation, focusing on native tree species such as Jabon Merah (Anthocephalus macrophyllus), Matoa (Pometia pinnata) and Nyatoh (Palaquium rostratum)

Expanding beyond wood, we spearhead Indonesia’s national emission reduction initiative with internationally certified, high quality nature-based carbon project.

We are going to offer an exquisite outdoor camping experience and seaside lodging with underwater exploration.

There could be an opportunity to monetize wood waste into biochar for soil fertilizer, renewable energy and water treatment.

Tamanu Tree or Bintangur (Calophyllum inophyllum) is a native tree species in Maluku Utara. The tree produces a dense oil-concentration seeds that could be processed into high quality biodiesel and hydrogen gas.
